Meet Leslie Blumer

Working as a Nutrition Facilitator on the Saginaw Intermediate School District’s Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds team, Leslie teaches children and their families about the importance of eating healthy. This is her first year with the Downtown Saginaw Farmers Market where she is looking forward to helping friends and neighbors maximize their food dollars, introducing the farmers that grow their food, and sharing healthy recipes featuring locally grown fruits and veggies. When Leslie isn’t working, she love reading, music, movies, baking, going to the beach and for walks with her kids and grandkids, and tending to her backyard chickens.

Matt is a chef, educator, artist and community social worker with a deep connection to Detroit farmers markets. This is his 5th market season working with the Generation With Promise program team through Henry Ford Health System. Holly JosephHolly has worked for District Health Department#10 for 23 years as a Public Health Educator. Much of her work has been around health education focusing on chronic disease prevention. She enjoys working in her community to increase access to healthy foods and physical activity opportunities and is a regular at the Manistee Farmers Market.
